LedgeFest 2011 - September 27, 2011

We had yet another year of fun, food, fellowship, and music over Labor Day weekend. Many thanks to the many folks who helped us make it happen for the fourth year in a row. It has become a time of reunion of family and friends. This year, we had a few changes as lightning and a bit of rain took us under the tent for several hours of unplugged music. There were many musicians who returned again--Bill Rich from Bluefield, VA, Clinton Collins from Princeton, WV, Dave and Barley Beeghley (aka Prose from Dover) from Pennsylvania, Daryl Ann and Jamie Beeghley from Abingdon, Rob and Jan Sykes from South Carolina, Carol Raedy from North Carolina, Bill McCall from Abingdon, and David and Ann too. We also had some new folks share music too--Manuel Street from Marion, VA, Jeffrey Johnson from Abingdon, and George Kiser from Lebanon, VA, joined us. We also had others join us for informal jamming in the song circle under the tent. (Thanks Jack! We loved your mando playing!)

So, take a minute to look at the pictures we have posted. We also have a youtube link to an original song by Bill Rich.

We are already planning for next year--5 years of LedgeFest! Thanks again for all of your help! We couldn't do it without you!
